Roatan Tourist Info is an independent travel guide with one aim: helping you plan your day or your week on Roatán with accurate, practical information.
What we do
We explain the island's main places and experiences, from the cruise port and West Bay to the cays, the reef and day trips to Utila, and compare tours from the main booking platforms so you can choose the right one for your trip.
We are not a tour operator and we are not an official tourism office. Bookings are made directly with the platforms, which handle payments, cancellations and customer service.
How we check our information
Fees, ferry schedules and entry rules in Honduras change often. We check them against official sources wherever possible (the Honduras Institute of Tourism, the Roatán Marine Park, the US State Department, the cruise terminals and operators' own websites), say so when a figure only comes from recent reports, and show the date each practical guide was last reviewed. If you spot something out of date, please tell us on our contact page.
